Perfect Black Swan is the new instrumental recording project of Toby Burke - singer/songwriter for the critically acclaimed band Horse Stories.

The first release - 1 - is a limited run of 500 numbered copies, featuring photography by Warwick Baker, inspired by the music.
The record is available here online, at shows and in select stores.

Each record has been hand-stamped and the artwork was a collaboration between Toby, designer Will Mahon and photographer Warwick Baker.

The name - Perfect Black Swan - is just something that occured to Toby during the recording. He does however acknowledge the irony of the word "perfect", given the sometimes unpredictable nature of the compositions.

There was an exhibition of Warwick's original colour photographs and short performance by Toby in Melbourne, Australia to officially launch the record, in March, 2007.
